You can call 24/7 to select a customized PIN, change your PIN or activate your new card using our automated system. Please call 1-888-891-2435 from your home or business number on file.

If your the number you are calling from matches the number was have on file then you will then need to enter your birth date using a MM/YY format.

If the phone number does not match you will be able to activate your card but not change your PIN. You can call the our contact center at 713-799-6200 to verify your phone number is current.

As a security feature the PIN Now system only allows 3 PIN change attempts per day.


Enhanced Chip Debit Card Reissue FAQ

Yes, it’s important that you activate your new debit card as soon as you receive it.

For your safety, the current card will only remain active for a short while. Activate your card now to prevent service interruptions. It’s important that you activate your new debit card as soon as you receive it.

No, for your convenience we will issue the new card with the same number you currently have with an extended expiration date.

Yes, your new chip-enhanced debit card will work with your current PIN. However, if you wish to select a new PIN, call PIN Now at 1-888-891-2435 and follow the prompts.

The last four digits of the account linked to your card will be listed on the card carrier sent in the mail with the card.

Be on the lookout for your new card the week of August 10, 2020. Cards should be in the home beginning August 6 - August 14.

Your new card will have the same features it has today, with an added feature of making contactless purchases. Look for the contactless symbol at checkout and Tap your card to make a payment.
Debit Card Tap and Go

Yes, your card can be used by inserting or swiping it at checkout terminals.

If a card is returned to PrimeWay, we will hold the card for 30 days. For your safety if we haven’t heard from you by that that time, we will close the card. If you haven’t received your card by August 24, please call us at 713-799-6200 to verify your mailing address and to have your card shipped to you.

For any payments tied to your MasterCard, you will need to contact the merchant and give them your new expiration date since it will be different.

Because the new card is issued with the same card number, it will be more convenient for you to wait for your card to arrive in the mail. Ordering another card would only delay receipt of your card and require changing card numbers with any billers who auto-bill and selecting a new PIN. At this time, we are unable to issue from our retail centers but will be able to do so soon.
