How Does Popmoney® Work?

send-money-onlineSending Money

1. You can send to the recipient's email or mobile
Just input who you want to pay and how much. The recipient doesn't need to have an existing Popmoney account.

2. Your friend or family member gets notified to deposit their money
If they don’t have a Popmoney account, they simply provide their bank account information. If they've used Popmoney before, they shoudn't need to do anything.

3. And voilà! The money goes directly to their bank account
Your payment should show in their bank account in 1 to 3 business days.

Requesting Money

1. You can request money from a person or group
Input who you want to collect from and how much. An existing Popmoney account isn’t required for the person you’re sending the request.

2. Your friend or family member gets notified to pay your request
It takes just a few clicks to pay your request. Popmoney sends a reminder in case they forget.

3. That’s it! The money automatically goes into your PrimeWay account
The money is deposited to your account and you’ll receive a notification that your request has been paid.

1 Requires an eligible PrimeWay checking account. Fees apply to Popmoney® person-to-person transfers. Please see the Membership Agreement and Fee Discosure for more information.
