What is a Credit Union?

Credit unions are not-for-profit financial cooperatives that are owned by members—they exist to serve and benefit the members, not stockholders. Offering loans and other financial services, credit unions are like banks as they offer a secure place to keep your money—all while offering better rates.

Credit unions are member-owned—so our members have ownership and a vote in how PrimeWay is operated. The board of directors are all volunteers, and members can vote and run to be a board member.
