Mobile Check Deposit FAQs
Mobile check deposit lets you deposit paper checks via the PrimeWay Mobile App into your PrimeWay checking or savings account using the camera on your mobile device – both your smartphone and tablet. Here are the steps to follow:
- Endorse your check. You will sign your name and write “For Mobile Deposit Only at PrimeWay FCU."
- Open the PrimeWay Mobile App, select "More" in the lower right corner, the select "Check Deposit"
- Enter the amount of the check
- Take photos of the front and back of the check
- Review the deposit information and then submit
Yes, to prevent your deposit from being rejected you need to sign your name on the check and write “For Mobile Deposit Only at PrimeWay FCU."
Please endorse the back of the check within 1.5 inches from the top edge.

The availability of your deposit can vary depending on your account type and other factors.

Deposit limits can vary based on many factors, such as your account type and deposit history.
Normally, each account has a maximum deposit limit of $25,000 per 30 days. For instance, if you were to do a mobile deposit on day 1, you will have hit your deposit limit and would not be able to make a deposit using the mobile check deposit until the 30 day period has passed, and then your limit is reset to $25,000. You will receive a notification about your limit when you sign up for mobile check deposit.

If your check amount is higher than your mobile deposit limit you can request an increase to your deposit limit by calling PrimeWay at (713) 799-6200 or (800) 554-5690. A PrimeWay representative is available Monday-Friday 8:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m.
If you are attempting to make a deposit outside of our hours of operation or need to make the deposit immediately, you can also deposit your check at any PrimeWay retail center or ATM.
